Global excitement builds for new Nissan ZEOD RC
The reaction from fans and global media to Nissan’s launch of the electric ZEOD RC has been impressive with enormous press coverage around world and fans flocking to see the new car in the fan village.
The new car was unveiled for the first time yesterday with fans getting the first chance to see the car. While the media gathered for a briefing in the paddock, it was the fans who actually had the first opportunity to view the car.
Nissan is looking to “draw back the curtain” to allow fans to see the complete behind the scenes build-up of the car’s development.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to show the fans what it is we’re doing,” said Andy Palmer, Nissan Executive Vice President.
“We have nothing to hide. This is the technology options we’re bringing to the race track and we can give them the opportunity to understand why we did things, what the parts look like and really invite them to see the heart of this ZEOD race car. I think that’s one of the charming things about Garage 56: it’s a showcase of technology and innovation.”
