The American Le Mans Series “Summer of 100 Starts” ends this weekend with GT championship leader Oliver Gavin.
Gavin and teammate Tommy Milner hold a 28-point lead in the championship with only two races remaining.
In his 100th series race this weekend, the popular British star has been a mainstay at Corvette Racing over the past decade. It’s been a fantastic marriage with three ALMS driver championships, 37 victories (fourth all-time) and 20 pole positions (tied for second all-time).
Michelin Alley talked with Gavin after today’s testing at VIR – his first opportunity to sample the Corvette C6.R around the 3.27 mile circuit.
