Level 5 Motorsports’ Christophe Bouchut is in love with Mazda Raceway – “there is only one Laguna”
The former 24 Hours of Le Mans winner was charged with qualifying duties with the team’s new Honda Performance Development engine and chassis package.
The Frenchman stopped the clocks at 1:16.688 in fifth place overall – just over a second behind the LMP1 Aston Martin of Klaus Graf.
The weekend marks the debut for team with the new car and Bouchut is really enjoying the opportunity to be back at the famous Monterey circuit.
