Flying Lizard Porsche to make Motorsports on Main debut
One of the most popular teams in sports car racing worldwide, Flying Lizard Motorsports will make its first appearance at Motorsports on Main in style.
The Sonoma based team will feature a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR with a special graphic design. The colorful commemorative livery created by California based artist Troy Lee celebrates the history of Porsche at Le Mans starting with drivers Hans Hermann and Richard Atwoord who secured the first overall victory at Le Mans for Porsche.
“The philosophy of our team is to be accessible to the fans and Motorsports on Main provides a great opportunity for us to meet new fans and invite everyone to be a Lizard,” said Flying Lizard Motorsports Vice president Jennifer Hart.
Flying Lizard Porsche drivers have captured the ALMS GT championship in each of the past three years.
