It’s all about the three-peat for Flying Lizard Motorsports entering 2011. The Porsche GT squad has won the last two driver’s and the last two MICHELIN® GREEN X® Challenge championships in GT, as they’ve won both races and efficiency competitions as the team to travel the farthest, fastest with the least energy consumption.
Back in the lead No. 045 again are Jörg Bergmeister and Patrick Long, with Marc Lieb the third driver, while team principal Seth Neiman races with Darren Law and Marco Holzer in the No. 044. Holzer, the newest Porsche factory driver, makes his Sebring debut this week. Flying Lizard last won its class at Sebring in 2008.
This is part of a series of previews on Michelin technical partner teams in this year’s 12 Hours of Sebring.
