Is it Ferrari’s day in qualifying?
They came close to victory at COTA and in final practice today at Road Atlanta the flying Ferrari’s went 1-2 in preparation for Petit Le Mans.
Scuderia Corsa led their second session of the week this morning with Daniel Serra while Risi Competizione is looking to make amends after victory slipped through their grasp in the closing stages of the race in Texas.
In the Prototype ranks this morning was again dominated by the Michael Shank Racing Honda-powered machine. In the team’s 250th prototype race, Shank is looking to go out on a high and third endurance driver Olivier Pla has been lightning fast so far this week – leading three of the four sessions with teammate Ozz Negri topping the second session yesterday.
