Ferrari Le Mans lineup set; GTE-Pro nearly complete
With Wednesday’s confirmation of the remaining drivers in three AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTEs, the GTE-Pro class field at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans is nearly complete.
Ferrari confirmed Daniel Serra (No. 51) and Miguel Molina (No. 71) to complete the lineups in AF Corse’s two full-season FIA World Endurance Championship entries.
Serra won at Le Mans last year with Aston Martin, and has opened 2018 with back-to-back pole positions in IMSA in a GT Daytona class Ferrari 488 GT3.

AF Corse’s third car, the No. 52 Ferrari, will see Toni Vilander alongside Pipo Derani and Antonio Giovinazzi. Derani took his second Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring victory with the Patron ESM team last month. Giovinazzi, a Ferrari junior driver who made two Formula 1 starts with Sauber in 2017, will make his Le Mans debut. He raced a couple FIA WEC races with Patron ESM in 2016.
All 17 cars in the GTE-Pro class will race on Michelin tires. The full breakdown of the GTE-Pro entry is below.
