This is the second in a five-part GT2 class preview series.
Scott Sharp’s new Extreme Speed Motorsports Ferrari F430 GT team is threatening to upset the balance of power in the rugged GT2 class right from their first race.
The team has had the entire off-season to gel and get prepared for Sebring, so the new program is full speed ahead this weekend. The distinctive green and black colors of sponsor Patron make the cars easy to spot, and Sharp is the defending LMP1 co-champion with Highcroft Racing so he knows how to win both races and titles.
Sharp will co-drive with Johannes van Overbeek and Dominik Farnbacher in the lead No. 01 entry, and the No. 02 team car will feature a trio of Ed Brown, Guy Cosmo and Joao Barbosa.
