Extra passport stamps for Popow

CORE autosport’s Alex Popow is a busy boy this weekend – not only will he be spending a lot of time behind the wheel of race cars, he’ll also be climbing aboard planes and helicopters.
A regular in both the American Le Mans Series and GRAND-AM competition, Popow is splitting his time between racing at Road America and Montreal … on the same day !
The Venezuelan will start the GRAND-AM race at Montreal, climb aboard a helicopter and fly to a private jet which will then take him to nearby Sheboygan.
He’ll then race back to Road America to climb back aboard the No.06 CORE autosport car he’s sharing with Brit Tom Kimber-Smith.
He is also keeping his passport very close at hand.
Michelin Alley caught up with Popow before qualifying this afternoon.
