Ex Jaguar and Williams Formula 1 driver Antonio Pizzonia is set to make his sportscar debut this weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for Conquest Endurance.
The popular Brazilian known to his fans as “Jungle Boy” has been busy in Brazilian Stock Cars and racing in Superleague Formula in Europe over the past few years.
However, this weekend will be the first time Pizzonia has driven in sportscars.
He will join Brit Martin Plowman and Dane David Heinemeier Hansson aboard the Morgan LMP2 machine this weekend.
Michelin Alley caught up with the Brazilian ace after this morning’s practice session to get his thoughts on his new ride.
