ESM Ferrari hits Little Italy
Italy, pizza, pasta, gelato, and Ferrari are obviously a perfect combination. Extreme Speed Motorsport brought that combo together leading up to the Baltimore Sports Car Challenge presented by SRT when they visited Baltimore’s Little Italy district.
The No.02 Ferrari Italia 458 plus drivers Scott Sharp, Ed Brown and Johannes van Overbeek visited the area – signed autographs and posed for photos with fans, ate pizza and pasta and even checked out the local Bocce Ball tournament.
Local Fox affiliate WBFF Fox 45 also interviewed Ed Brown for the evening news and did a live cross with reporter Karen Parks (pictured right) actually sitting in the driver’s seat.
“When we heard there were problems with the race after last year we were really upset because this was one of the best cities that we have ever raced in,” Brown told Fox 45.
After scoring their first victory in ALMS competition in Mosport this year along with two other podiums this season, ESM has their sights set on repeating their podium performance the last time the Ferraris did battle on city streets in round two at Long Beach.
