ELMS Teams Invited to Petit Le Mans
July 20, 2012
With the balance of the 2012 European Le Mans Series season cancelled, the series organizers and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) have announced that ELMS teams are being invited to participate in the ALMS season finale, the 10 Hour/1000 mile Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, October 17-20.
ALMS and ELMS team will be scored separately and ELMS teams will receive double–points at Petit Le Mans toward the ELMS championships.
ELMS champions in the LMP2, GTE-Pro and GTE-Am classes will earn automatic invitations to enter the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hour race.
