Early Exit for Fernandez
June 11, 2011
Developing a new car is always an up and down process and today was certainly a down day for former American Le Mans Series champion Adrian Fernandez. The new #009 Aston Martin AMR-One was the first retirement of the 2011 race when an alternator belt pulley failure resulted in the car stopping on the circuit just two laps into the race.
The Prodrive team expects better then things when they head to Laguna Seca and Petit Le Mans later this season.
