Former ALMS champion and 2010 co-winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Romain Dumas showed he has lost none of his touch in taking the Muscle Milk Team CytoSport Porsche RS Spyder to the top of the timing charts during Friday testing here at Mosport.
Dumas, who is pinch-hitting for the injured Greg Pickett as co-driver with Klaus Graf, laid down a best lap of 1:07.801 for an average speed of 130.564 miles per hour on the historic 2.459-mile circuit.
The Dyson Lola Mazda of Chris Dyson and Guy Smith posted a 1:08.428 best lap; followed by the Intersport Racing Lola of Jon and Clint Field at 1:08.604 and the Road America winning Drayson Lola of Jonny Cocker and Paul Drayson at 1:08.640.
Rounding out the top five was the Highcroft HPD ARX-01c of David Brabham and Simon Pagenaud at 1:09.012.
