Dry, Then Wet, Quals Abandoned

The ALMS qualifying session began at 5:10pm with the GT Challenge class cars taking to the dry track. That lasted for just over five minutes when sprinkles began.
The GT cars immediately took to the track as the GTC session ended but the rain continued to increase and the red flag was displayed stopping the GT session.
With rain increasing and three classes yet to run, the IMSA (ALMS) officials have declared the qualifying abandoned.
The starting grid will be set based upon points.
