The 19th running of the 25 Hours of Thunderhill presented by Hawk Performance saw a clear champion over the weekend. Crowdstrike Racing by Riley Motorsport won the grueling endurance race by a staggering 86 laps with the help of MICHELIN® tires.
“We are tremendously excited about our success at the 25 hours of Thunderhill,” said Kurtz. “This is a win that has evaded me for nearly a decade. Our team was very confident with our partnership with Michelin, whom we know very well from our IMSA racing. The tires gave us the advantage in cold and wet conditions, providing that extra edge to finally climb that mountain and get the win.
The Ligier LMP320 completed 664 laps around the 3-mile track in California. The featured the talented driving of Kurtz, Colin Braun, Felipe Fraga and Matt McMurry racing on MICHELIN Pilot Sport tires.
