Crazy day at Baltimore
Baltimore provided race fans with the one of the craziest days in the history of the American Le Mans Series today – false starts, a huge crash and the shortest race ever run in the series.
The one hour, 14 minute “super sprint” certain turned on a show. Sadly many cars were missing from the event including the former P2 championship leader Scott Tucker, all three Porches from CORE autosport, Falken and Paul Miller Racing plus the Risi Ferrari whose run of horrid luck continued today.
Many teams have a busy couple of weeks ahead to repair machinery in time for the next race in the championship, the first ALMS visit to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
The Michelin Alley photo team was hard at work capturing all the action. Check out their great images by clicking here…..
