Corvette Shift
Jan Magnussen has a different seat at Corvette Racing this weekend at Mosport. Magnussen moves to the #4 Corvette to team with Oliver Gavin. Meanwhile Olivier Beretta takes his spot in the #3 Corvette with Johnny O’Connell.
Gavin and Beretta prefer different car set-ups, hence the switch. Observers note that set up is not usually a major concern to Magnussen, who scored Corvette’s last win here at Mosport 2009 by rubbing doors with a Risi Ferrari to take the lead.
Magnussen and Gavin were third in Friday’s test session and again in the Saturday morning practice. O’Connell and Beretta were fifth on Friday and fifth again Saturday morning.
