Corvette Racing’s Jordan Taylor is still the “young gun” on the GM squad but with a year of endurance events under his belt, the talented second generation racer now feels well at home.

Taylor was second fastest in night practice last night in the No.3 ‘Vette he shares with Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia.

Combining Sebring, Le Mans and Petit Le Mans will a full season of GRAND-AM Rolex Series competition, Taylor’s on-track performances certainly are indicating he (along with brother Ricky) are going to be true sportscar stars of the future.

“Last year was a lot to learn with a lot of pressure being my first time doing these three big events,” Taylor said.

“This year I have a lot more confidence and I am lot more comfortable coming into the weekend. I can push hard and race with the other cars. The car has been good all week and considering we finished second last year, hopefully we can go one better this weekend.”

Taylor also talked to Michelin Alley about the differences between racing the Corvette GT car and his regular Daytona Prototype. Click below to listen.
