The Highcroft team unveiled a surprise on Friday morning by changing the car number of the #1 Highcroft HPD ARX-01c to #100 for the Grand Prix of Mosport race in honor of driver David Brabham’s 100th Amercian Le Mans Series start. Brabham, the defending ALMS Prototype champion, is the only driver in the history of the ALMS to score wins in the four traditional ALMS classes.
Brabham becomes only the second ALMS driver to rack up 100 starts. Corvette Racing’s Johnny O’Connell is making his 110th ALMS start.
