Braun quicker than a blink of a eye
Braun quicker than a blink of a eye
CORE autosport’s Colin Braun scored his second season pole in the PC class at VIR today by almost the closest margin possible 0.001 of a second.
This is literally quicker than the blink of an eye. The average speed was .002 of a mph faster than Kyle Marcelli.
So what was the secret?
“Maybe Kyle hit a bug and I didn’t,” quipped Braun at the press conference.
The first five cars in the PC class were actually covered by only 0.469 of a second with Braun leading from Marcelli, Tom Kimber-Smith, Bruno Junqueira and Marino Franchitti.
CORE autosport has already wrapped up the PC team’s championship and now Kimber-Smith’s teammate Alex Popow has his sights set on doing the same in the driver’s battle tomorrow.
Popow and Kimber-Smith need to finish third or better in tomorrow’s four-hour event to clinch the title for the Venezuelan star.
