BMW continues pole run

BMW Motorsport continued their impressive performances in this year’s American Le Mans Series by taking pole at Mosport International Raceway today.
The German manufacturer has won three of four poles and taken every win against fierce competition from Ferrari, Porsche, Chevrolet and Ford this season.
Dirk Müller recorded the fastest time in qualifying at 1:17.142 ahead of teammate Bill Auberlen.
Flying Lizard Racing’s Jörg Bergmeister was third fastest for Porsche while Scott Sharp impressed for Extreme Speed Motorsports – scoring fourth on the GT grid with his Ferrari.
