With a five–car attack (three in GTE-Pro and a pair in GTE-AM) Aston Martin Racing is running fast and deep as the 2013 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans prepares to head to the grid.
Aston Martin’s Frederic Makowiecki put the #99 Aston Martin Vantage V8 on the GTE-Pro pole with record lap 3:54.635.
Teammate Stefan Mucke qualified second and Pedro Lamy took the fifth spot as all three GTE Pro cars appear prepared to take the fight to the AF Corse Ferrari, Porsche AG Team Manthey, Corvette Racing, and SRT Viper teams.
American Bill Auberlen co-drives the n.98 car with Lamy and Canada’s Paul Dalla Lana.
