Added Video Streaming for Mid-Ohio Weekend

August 6, 2010

The sixth round of the American Le Mans Series season at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has added more video streaming compared to a normal race weekend.

The ALMS website, americanlemans.com, will stream both the Friday afternoon practice and qualifying to follow, starting at 12:45 p.m. ET. Additionally, the series site streams the Saturday race, which begins at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Although the race will not be televised live, it will be broadcast Sunday, August 15 at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports. Intersport and NFL Films, the same companies that produced the highly well-received film on Audi’s quest to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, “Truth in 24,” produce the hour and a half “docu-drama.” They also did this for the third round of the season, the six-hour race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, Calif. in May.
