With a dry track for the first time since Monday, lap times fell fast in the final free practice session for Petit Le Mans.

The fight between Muscle Milk Pickett Racing and Rebellion Racing continued, with the latter topping the timesheets in the last session before qualifying in the afternoon.

Lucas Luhr took to the track for Muscle Milk in white and red liveried HPD ARX- 03b and held the top sport for the first twenty minutes of the session.

Rebellion sent out Neel Jani in their black and red car and the Swiss driver swapped fast laps with Luhr. The fight continued until Jani lapped an impressive 1.10.137 and set the pace for the morning.

P2 was led throughout by the Level 5 Motorsports team. Marino Franchitti led off the practice session and set class fast lap before Ryan Briscoe stepped into the cockpit to get some time running on the dry track.

SRT was 1-2 throughout most of the session in GT in their GTS-R Viper car, but ultimately finished 3rd and 4th. The 1-2 was broken up when Risi Competizione popped in fast lap with Matteo Malucelli behind the wheel.  The Italian had a 1.19.251 as his best lap time.

Oliver Gavin in the number 4 Corvette was second fastest in GT.

The session was incident free save for a spin by Chris Dyson at the entrance of the chicane of turn 10.

Next time out counts for starting position. GT cars take to the track at 2:05 and P1/2 take to the track 45 minutes later.
