1,000 Miles To Victory

For today’s Petit Le Mans, the ALMS drivers will be racing in their sportscars for 10-hours or 1,000-miles. To put driving 1,000 miles into perspective, where would someone end up if they left Road Atlanta and drove 1,000 miles?
Driving 959 miles would get you to Green Bay, WI. Or, if Boston, MA was your destination, that is only 1,059 miles away. Fancy a home college football game for the Cornhuskers – Lincoln, NE is 1,034 miles from Road Atlanta.
Though, it would take much longer to drive to those locations compared to the time it takes the ALMS drivers to race 1,000 miles.
Road Atlanta, Braselton, GA to:
- Detroit, Michigan – 759 miles
- New York City, New York – 832 miles
- Houston, Texas – 842 miles
- Key West, Florida – 866 miles
- Green Bay, Wisconsin – 959 miles
- Lincoln, Nebraska – 1034 miles
- San Antonio, Texas – 1038 miles
- Boston, Massachusetts – 1059 miles
